Besties! Singer Lorde gushes over 'cute' actress Jennifer Lawrence as she reveals the Hunger Games star 'completely fanned out' when meeting her

She has only just turned 18 but her fan base boasts the likes of singer Taylor Swift.

And now, Lorde can add another fan to the list- Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.

The singer curated the soundtrack for the highly anticipated film, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and on Sunday engaged in a Q&A session with her fans on Twitter about the experience.

'I completely fanned out. 'Is she here? Is she here? Is she here? She's here? Ok, cool...got a picture with her' she said.

Her co-stars, Liam Hemsworth and John Hutcherson, teased that 'Jen was the most excited person there' and that 'she was 'screaming.'

The two female performers recently attended the film's premiere together in London.
